This follows the hearing of the Prosecutor General\u2019s Decision (PGD), which directed that Hengari and a male co-accused stand trial at the regional court situated at the Katutura Magistrate\u2019s Court after considering all the evidence brought forward against the accused. During the proceedings, lawyers demanded full disclosure of the evidence the state plans to use, as well as disclosure of DNA sample results collected from Hengari and his 21-year-old rape accuser on 17 April 2025, as part of an investigation into allegations of rape, kidnapping, and forced abortion.
