THE United Arab Emirates (UAE) has lifted travel restrictions on travellers from Namibia effective from 29 January 2022.<\/p>\n

Namibia\u2019s Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation (MIRCO) in a statement said it welcomes the lifting of the travel restrictions which came after an engagement on 21 January 2022 between Namibia\u2019s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Netumbo Nandi-Ndaiwath and Sheik Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE.<\/p>\n

\u201cMIRCO appreciates the prompt reaction of the UAE authorities to the Honourable Deputy Prime Minister and Minister\u2019s call,\u201d the Ministry said.<\/p>\n

The UAE announced that the travel ban will be lifted on 29 January 2022.<\/p>\n
