{"id":10866,"date":"2022-01-30T18:39:06","date_gmt":"2022-01-30T18:39:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/namibia\/all-news\/grace-church-ignores-closure-order"},"modified":"2022-01-30T19:27:12","modified_gmt":"2022-01-30T19:27:12","slug":"grace-church-ignores-closure-order","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/namibia\/all-news\/grace-church-ignores-closure-order","title":{"rendered":"Grace Church ignores closure order"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>\u2022 ELIZABETH MWENGO<\/p>\n<p>DESPITE an order from the Mbunza Traditional Authority to cease operations while their pastor is being investigated, members of Grace Church situated in Satotwa settlement at Rundu, came out in numbers to attend services on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The order to halt operations with immediate effect was given at a hearing held at the Mbunza tribal office at Kapako village last week, after two women from the congregation reported that the self-proclaimed prophet, Sebarius Muronga, had allegedly impregnated them.<\/p>\n<p>Muronga has denied that he impregnated the two women.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We know that the church is still operating even after clear instructions were given. We are busy drafting a letter to inform the Namibian Police.
