Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>WHS Old Boys thrashed CCD Tigers by 163 runs in their 50-over Premier League match on Saturday.<\/b><\/p>\n

Old Boys posted a formidable 365 runs for 6 wickets off their 50 overs, before dismissing CCD for 202 to complete a comprehensive victory.<\/p>\n

Zane Green and Craig Williams laid the platform for Old Boys’ victory with a great century partnership for the first wicket.<\/p>\n

Williams was the first to go for 83 off 86 balls (6×4, 4×6) while Green was eventually dismissed for 129 off 119 balls (12×4, 4×6).<\/p>\n

There were also solid contributions from Malan Kruger (29), Gerhard Erasmus (39), JP Kotze (21) and Ruben Trumpelmann (42) as they reached a formidable 365 for 6 wickets.<\/p>\n

For CCD, Mauritius Ngupita took 2\/47 and Nicol Loftie Eaton 2\/90.<\/p>\n

CCD lost regular wickets and never got close to the total.<\/p>\n

Pikkie Ya France was their top scorer with 40 runs off 37 balls (3×4, 2×6), while Nicol Loftie Eaton added 33, Wayne Raw 30, and Jaden Cloete 26 before they were all out for 202.<\/p>\n

For Old Boys, Ruben Trumpelmann took 2\/14 and Tangeni Lungameni 2\/24.<\/p>\n
