HEAVY rains are still being reported in Namibia\u2019s northern areas, with the Kunene and Ohangwena regions recording the highest rainfall levels on Friday, according to Namibia Meteorological Service.<\/p>\n

The Ohangwena region has received consistent heavy rainfall, with Eenhana and Oshikango reportedly receiving 37 mm and 19,2 mm respectively on Friday.<\/p>\n

However, it is the Kunene region that received the most rain, with Mopane Pos 6 recording 100 mm of rain.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Fransfontein also received 26 mm and Khorixas recorded 5,8 mm.<\/p>\n

Namibia Weather Network shared photos of Madisa Camp, located between Uis and Khorixas, with the caption: \u201cMadisa Camp received a total of 61 mm of rain and the Goantagab River has flowed past Madisa for the second time this year. We received exceptional rains this year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many areas in the Otjozondjupa region also received considerable rainfall.<\/p>\n

According to Namibia Meteorological Service, Otjikururume, Waterberg, Otjiwarongo, Okahandja and Otavi received 41 mm, 33,6 mm, 28 mm, 22 mm and 12,3 mm of rain respectively.<\/p>\n

Namibia Meteorological Services also reported that widespread thundershowers are expected in the Central-North, Kunene, Erongo and Hardap regions.<\/p>\n
