The delegation&#8217;s major aim was to explore current and future opportunities for projects, ranging from infrastructure improvement to green hydrogen and health system advancements.<\/p>\n<p>Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, the deputy prime minister of Namibia and minister of international relations and cooperation, on Monday said: \u201cLooking at this visit, we will be focusing on areas that will facilitate trade and investment between our businesses and among infrastructure developer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to have functional ports to allow goods to move efficiently. We need to have our railway infrastructure in place if we want to trade properly with our landlocked countries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She said she was happy with the progress of the incentive. Nandi-Ndaitwah said the visit also aimed to empower young entrepreneurs. \u201cIf our young people are not involved, then we will not go far,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She said the initiative would showcase a balanced and shared prosperity in the country, including the new equitable economic empowerment bill (Neeeb).<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement released by the US embassy, the business delegation offered American expertise in infrastructure development, renewable energy development like solar energy and green hydrogen, and healthcare management.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first in a series of economic diplomacy visits the state department will undertake to advance US trade and investment in Africa, the statement read.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/namibia\">Namibia<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Namibia.
