Africa-Press<\/a> – Namibia<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>INVESTING into education for the future generations remains the priority of local businessman Tona Amadhila, following the establishment of Vision Private School (PS) in Omusati Region.<\/p>\n

Established in 2011, with only 48 learners, the school strives to live up to its name by creating a vision that focuses on ensuring that Namibia develops in its education sector.<\/p>\n

As the founder of the school Amadhila said that while growing up, educational development was the song continuously sung by his parents who told him to always prioritize education.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you want changes and development, you have to start with education to get to know the world and life. That principle prompted me to establish the school,\u201d he said. Amadhila indicated many people continue to travel long distances in search for education, which results on parents spending more than they can save.<\/p>\n

When Informant\u00e9 visited the school, the reporter was greeted by walls covered in numbers, the alphabet and various career choices a child could make while learners play around the school premise.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Informant\u00e9, the school\u2019s principal, Berlindis Elungu, said they are faced with a challenge for more space for children and administration each year. She added that it is difficult to meet the demand.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to accept all the learners but due to the lack of adequate space, it has proven to be impossible,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

She also noted that they accept the learners in order to polish them while still young with a vision of pushing a well-prepared young person into society. The school which started off with only 48 learners has now enrolled over 370 learners and have 23 teaching and support staff.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
