Ostrowski will now meet Evan Jarzaguet of France who beat South Africa&#8217;s Rudiger Dusselberg 6-2, 6-0.<\/p>\n<p>All the other seeded players however comfortably reached the second round of the competition.<\/p>\n<p>The top seeded Leo Matthysen of South Africa, who is ranked 301 amongst the world&#8217;s top juniors, comfortably beat Namibia&#8217;s Stephan Koen 6-0, 6-1, to book a second round date against Yoshka Sborowsky of France, who beat Jay Singh of Australia 6-2, 6-3.<\/p>\n<p>The number two seed, Benedict Badza of Zimbabwe comfortably beat Namibia&#8217;s Daniel Jauss 6-1, 6-3, to book a second round clash against the unseeded Johannes van Wijk of South Africa who beat Esi Molefe of Botswana 6-0, 6-1.<\/p>\n<p>The third seeded Joseph Townes of South Africa beat Namibia&#8217;s Ruben Yssel 6-0, 6-2 and will now meet the unseeded Mostafa Nour el Din of Egypt who beat Thompson Thomu of Zimbabwe 3-6, 6-4, 6-0.<\/p>\n<p>The fourth seeded Mark Nawa of Botswana beat Namibia&#8217;s Dian Calitz 6-3, 6-1 to book a second round clash against the unseeded Marshall Hulett of South Africa, who beat Tobiasz Sopolinski of Poland 6-3, 7-6.<\/p>\n<p>The fifth-seeded Yarona Morule of South Africa beat Hayden Loffler of Swaziland 7-5, 6-2 to book a second round clash against compatriot John Coetzee, who beat Namibia&#8217;s Eduan Schollij 6-0, 6-0.<\/p>\n<p>The sixth seeded Calum Jestin of South Africa beat Namibia&#8217;s Joel Hiveluah 6-0, 6-0 to book a second round clash against the unseeded Elias Hoxha of Austria who beat Francois van Wyk of South Africa 6-4, 6-2.<\/p>\n<p>The seventh seeded Shane Tapera of Zimbabwe beat Antonio Tchivanda of Angola 6-1, 6-0 and will now meet the unseeded Jovan Lubbe of South Africa who beat Namibia&#8217;s Sarel Janse van Rensburg 6-0, 6-1.<\/p>\n<p>In the girls singles competition, all the top seeded players received byes into the second round, while a few also secured comfortable victories to progress to the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n<p>Rune van Wyk of South Africa beat Leandre Louw of Namibia 6-2, 6-1 in the first round, but lost to her second seeded compatriot Tayla Wilmot 6-1, 2-6, 6-2 in the second round.<\/p>\n<p>Kaitlyn Ramduth of South Africa beat Namibia&#8217;s Joanivia Bezuidenhout 6-2, 6-1 to book a second round clash against the fourth seeded Shahd Habib of Egypt.<\/p>\n<p>The eighth seeded Claire Jaramba of South Africa beat Nina Sekonopo of Botswana 6-2, 6-0.<\/p>\n<p>The sixth seeded Sophia Fuller of South Africa beat compatriot Mia Leshem 6-4, 6-3, and will now meet the third seeded Dune Vaissaud of France, who beat Annika Kleinhans of South Africa 6-0, 6-0.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/namibia\">Namibia<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Namibia.
