Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>World Boxing Association (WBA) Pan African super bantamweight champion Mateus \u2018The Beast\u2019 Heita has promised his opponent he won\u2019t last more than six rounds in their fight tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Heita and Jonas Matheus will be headlining the Together as One Part 7 Boxing Bonanza at Walvis Bay, which will see Heita defending his title in a 12-rounder. The WBO Africa super bantamweight title is also on the line.<\/p>\n

There is much at stake as the winner will automatically move within the WBO top-15 world rankings, and also in touching distance of mega fights on the global stage.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the official weigh-in Wednesday at a local hotel, The Beast said it will be an easy fight as he is the better boxer.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the talking has come to an end. You\u2019ve never fought a good boxer like me. I am going to retain my title and take everything on the table. I believe for you; you won\u2019t last more than six rounds,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Matheus said he had enough time to prepare for this encounter and is ready to step into the ring and deliver.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll fight as if I am contesting for a world title,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The bonanza will also see Fillipus Shaanika taking on Julius Sheefeni for the national super bantamweight title over 10 rounds.<\/p>\n
