I said this because Nabta&#8217;s latest elective congress only concluded on 18 February 2022,\u201d Muunda said and claims he was elected into the executive at the February congress.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the splinter group has created its own letterheads, which he said was illegal.<\/p>\n<p>On the contrary, Platt said Muunda was suspended from Nabta in 2016 for not following the association&#8217;s rules.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were elected in 2013 and our time expired in 2018. According to Nabta&#8217;s constitution, we must comply with the rules and form an ad hoc committee, which we did. So, the ad hoc committee was established after the expiry of the five-year period,\u201d Platt said.<\/p>\n<p>Platt added that the association had to come up with a new letterhead because Muunda was abusing the organisation&#8217;s identity and emblems.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey call themselves a taskforce team. The executive committee decided on a new logo for the simple reason that Muunda was misusing the association&#8217;s letterhead. During his time of suspension, he was instructed to hand over the stamps and the letterhead, which he did not do.
