THE Tulihongeni Vocational Training Centre will kick off with their annual tournament in the Oshana Region.<\/p>\n

The tournament is set to kick off on Saturday and will conclude on Sunday at Oshakati United Soccer Field, located in Evululuko.<\/p>\n

According to tournament planner Leonard Mandongo, registration for teams is still open and competitors can register their teams at an amount of N$ 800 for both soccer and netball.<\/p>\n

Mandongo stated that the tournament aims to target Namibian from all walks of life, who enjoy sporting activities.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to give people the feeling of belonging during the games and have time to engage with the players on the ground,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He added that there is a grand prize to be won both for netball and soccer.<\/p>\n

The first runner-ups will walk away with N$ 5000, a floating trophy and gold medals, and the second runner-ups will scoope N$ 3000 and Silver medals. While the third runner-ups will be grabbing N$ 2000 and bronze medals.<\/p>\n

Mandongo stated that the tournament is opened to everyone that wants to participate.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis tournament is worth attending,\u201d he stressed.<\/p>\n

He added that professional referees will be involved and the venue is reachable.<\/p>\n
