Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>The Landless People\u2019s Movement has recalled Keetmanshoop Deputy Mayor Charlcyta Cooper from the post with immediate effect.<\/p>\n

In a letter written to Cooper on 21 July 2022 by the party\u2019s Operative Secretary Dawid Eigub, she was notified of her official withdrawal as deputy major of the town.<\/p>\n

The party\u2019s leader Bernadus Swartbooi wrote to Cooper on 07 July 2022 calling her \u201cintellectually fatigued and careless\u201d and accused her of sharing critical party information with others.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour endorsement is herewith revoked and you will as of today cease to be councillor representing the Landless People\u2019s Movement political party and shall have no authority, jurisdiction or power of any sort to act on behalf of the party in council affairs,\u201d Eigub wrote.<\/p>\n

Efforts to get a comment from Cooper were fruitless.<\/p>\n
