Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>Rehoboth-based outfit Reho Falcon head coach Ronald Pedro yesterday warned they will not be intimidated by the impressive run of Namibia Rugby Union (NRU) Premier league log leaders Kudus when they square off tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Falcon, who are currently rooted to the bottom of the log table with less than five points from 10 league matches, will be at home as they welcome coastal side Kudus for a match of contrasting prospects.<\/p>\n

The struggling Falcon side would be gunning for a win with the hope of uprooting themselves from the rascals of the relegation zone, while the in-form Kudus will, on the other hand, be out to further cement their perfect run at the top of the log.<\/p>\n

Kudus, who are currently topping the log with 45 points from 10 league encounters, have so far only lost one match since the start of the current campaign, and will be aiming to make sure there is no room for errors against the highly-determined Falcon side.<\/p>\n

But despite Kudus\u2019 near-perfect run atop the league table, Falcon gaffer Pedro remains unfazed and said tomorrow could possibly mark the turning point of their ailing fortunes, as he targets a win against the visiting seasiders.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have been preparing well and also trying out a few new tactics at training. I am happy with my players, and we are confident that we will do well on Saturday, because we need the win against Kudus. We know that Kudus are on a good run, and they are at the top of the log, but we will not be intimidated by their performance or position; we will go out there and give it our best as we always do,\u201d said a confident Pedro.<\/p>\n

Despite enjoying home ground advantage, it will not be a walk in the park for Falcon, as Kudus\u2019 mentor Gawan Esterhuizen also fired a warning salvo to his counterpart, saying they will not leave room for any second-guessing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are well prepared, and the approach will be the same. Obviously, we will be facing a team that is currently not doing so well in the league, but that does not mean we should underestimate them. We will be prepared and ready to put in the work to get the win as we have been doing all along; we will take it one game at a time,\u201d Esterhuizen said yesterday.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere tomorrow, fourth-placed Khomasdal outfit Western Suburbs will be at the Hage Geingob stadium, where they will welcome second-placed Wanderers in what is expected to be a thrilling encounter, while Grootfontein Rugby Club will be at home against Rehoboth Rugby Club.<\/p>\n

There will also be action at the Trustco United rugby field in the capital, where United takes on third-placed Unam in what is also anticipated to be another exciting clash, where no quarter will be asked nor given.<\/p>\n
