This was announced by the Namibian Presidency yesterday evening in a social media post.<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Hage Geingob participated in the SADC Organ Troika Summit at the Palais du Peuple, Kinshasa, where following a lengthy meeting Namibia accepted to lead the Organ on Politics, Defence and Security,\u201d the post said.<\/p>\n

Geingob arrived earlier yesterday in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo, to participate in the SADC Organ Troika Summit.<\/p>\n

Today, he is expected to participate in the 42nd Ordinary SADC Summit, that takes place under the theme ‘Promoting industrialisation through, agro-processing, mineral beneficiation, and regional value chains for inclusive and resilient economic growth’.<\/p>\n

Geingob is expected to return to Namibia later today.<\/p>\n
