Africa-Press<\/a> – Namibia<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Namibia is set to take part in the 2020 Dubai Expo, the Commissioner-General of Namibia\u2019s Expo 2020 Dubai, Nangula Uaandja said Monday. According to Uaandja, the Namibian pavilion aims to display its natural treasures to the world and Namibia\u2019s activities will focus on showcasing the country\u2019s vast potential for renewable energy generation, unique landscapes and abundant wildlife which culminate in an incredible touristic experience, marine diamonds and mineral wealth, as well as diverse cultural heritage.<\/p>\n

\u201cNamibia\u2019s pavilion is structured under the theme: Preserving and Utilizing Natural Treasures for Future Generations: The Opportunity of a Lifetime,\u201d Uaandja said.<\/p>\n

Uaandja meanwhile, said the full program for Namibia\u2019s pavilion and presence during the six-month duration of the expo will be shared on their social media pages soon.<\/p>\n

The 2020 Dubai Expo, originally scheduled for Oct. 20, 2020 \u2013 April 10, 2021, has been postponed to Oct. 1, 2021, \u2013 March 31, 2022, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, welcoming 190 countries, plus businesses, multilateral organizations and educational establishments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
