Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>How could a vehicle generating 179kW and an unbelievable 539Nm of torque use only 5.2 litres of fuel for every 100km? While this sounds like an impossible achievement, it is exactly what you will get with Haval\u2019s much-anticipated H6 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) which was launched in the capital this week by Pupkewitz GWM. The new hybrid vehicle, which charges the battery as you drive, retails from N$679 000.<\/p>\n

Introducing its hybrid technology, consisting of a turbo petrol engine and a self-charging electric motor, Haval\u2019s H6 HEV lets the driver enjoy less pollution with a vehicle that emits less carbon dioxide but yet delivers outstanding performance. This is what Haval, as a global Sports Utility Vehicle brand, has brought to Namibia through a constantly evolving vehicle line-up that continues to impress. In fact, unlike fully electric vehicles (EVs) which have a limited range before needing a recharge, the H6 HEV is perfect for Namibia\u2019s long distances and lack of EV charging infrastructure.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen it comes to a smooth and quiet driving experience you can thank the advanced two-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) which manages the impressive torque launch,\u201d explained Pupkewitz GWM\u2019s Sales Manager, Selwyn Moody.<\/p>\n

He added that on the outside, every feature on the H6, from the futuristic LED headlights and gloss black accents to the sports rear spoiler and panoramic sunroof, lets the driver and occupants know the new hybrid Haval is here to drive you into a smart new world.<\/p>\n

The H6 encompasses signature 225\/55 R19 sports allow wheels as well as a pronounced front grille and confident curves set the tone for a smart new era of innovation.<\/p>\n

The H6 is also not shy when it comes to safety, offering seven airbags, front and rear parking sensors and a 360 degree camera with a panoramic view.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more is that the Haval H6 HEV is the first local Haval SUV to integrate a fully automatic parking system for smart, convenient parking.<\/p>\n

With both the driver and passengers in mind, the all new H6 HEV interior is all comfort and no compromise. Step into this futuristic luxury vehicle with smart keyless entry, a modern 10.25 inch colour combination instrument panel, 12.3 inch colour multi-touch screen and a customisable heads-up display.<\/p>\n

This is alongside several other innovative safety advancements, including: autonomous emergency brake, traffic jam assist, rear cross traffic alert, door open warning, lane keep steering, electronic stability system, full speed adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning.<\/p>\n
