Training has been provided at all levels to sensitise all the role players and officials on possible pitfalls and areas of concern with the strategic method of preventing any dishonesty,\u201d said the minister.<\/p>\n<p>The minister was responding to questions from Lukas Hamata of the Popular Democratic Movement, who wanted assurance from Nghipondoka that last year&#8217;s incident will not repeat this year.<\/p>\n<p>Multiple end of the year examination papers for Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate &#8211; Grade 12 legacy and Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate were leaked.<\/p>\n<p>This forced the ministry of education to change the school calendar by closing schools early to allow regions to prepare for the national examination at the beginning of this year for subjects that were affected.<\/p>\n<p>Hamata also asked if the ministry has prepared alternative question papers in case of another leak.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBack up question papers are ready and available for any eventuality, which we do not foresee if all the role players and stakeholders comply to set rules and regulations of engagement of national examinations,\u201d the minister said.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in the National Assembly last week on Thursday, Nghipondoka noted that after the unprecedented leakage of question papers last year, the ministry has revisited all the risk areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll safety and security measures have been screened once again for strengthening.
