The purpose of the agreement is to facilitate, organise, and develop cooperation within various areas. In partnership with the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), this partnership will facilitate knowledge sharing between the parties.<\/p>\n<p>Through this, both parties will strengthen the capacity of Namcor and MME to participate in the realisation of various projects both onshore and offshore, allowing Namcor to develop the energy strategy and energy transition in Namibia.<\/p>\n<p>The integration of Technip Energies experts into the Namcor and the Ministry of Mines and Energy teams will ensure skills transfer that will be vital to the optimisation of the recent hydrocarbons discoveries in Namibia. The areas of cooperation and education include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Principals of energy transitions<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) principals<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Process engineering<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Platform installations onshore and offshore<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Development of offshore hydrocarbons fields<\/p>\n<p>Technip Energies is a world leader in engineering and technology for the energy transition with a 60-year history executing some of the largest and most complex engineering and construction projects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur purpose is our people and allowing our Namibians to upskill and better themselves for the many opportunities the energy industry will create is a strategic point for us. Smart partnerships are key in ensuring our success and the overall success of Namibia as we optimise our discoveries,\u201d stated the Managing Director of Namcor, Immanuel Mulunga.<\/p>\n<p>Namcor is the legally enacted entity under the Namibian Companies Act 28 of 2004 with the government as its primary stakeholder.
