Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>The minister of finance and public enterprises Iipumbu Shiimi has extended the term of office of the Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) board for another three months.<\/p>\n

According to NWR spokesperson Nelson Asgipala, the board will serve until 14 March.<\/p>\n

The board, chaired by ambassador Leonard lipumbu and Janet Wilson Moore as his deputy, has already served two terms that ended on 14 June.<\/p>\n

They remained in office for six months pending the finalisation of the recruitment of new board members.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the appointment letter, minister Shiimi, announced that the new board’s recruitment is still to be finalised, hence the extension of the current team,\u201d said Ashipala.<\/p>\n

Other members of the NWR board are Elize Petersen, Ruddie Putter, Bernd Schneider, Eva Shifotoka and Carol Williams.<\/p>\n
