Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>R\u043e\u0308ssing Uranium, a local mining company, has donated N$300 000,00 to the National Emergency Disaster Fund to assist with flood relief efforts in the northern parts of Namibia.<\/p>\n

Motivating R\u043e\u0308ssing Uranium\u2019s reason for the donation, Johan Coetzee, the Managing Director (MD), said: \u201cwe have seen the aerial footages of what damages the floods has caused to the communities and the livelihood of the people, children not going to school and in keeping with our mantra \u2018Working for Namibia\u2019, we couldn\u2019t stand and watch this happen to fellow Namibians.\u201d<\/p>\n

Receiving the donation, Prime Minister, Saara Kuugongelwa Amadhila, expressed sincere gratitude on behalf of the government for the support shown by R\u043e\u0308ssing Uranium in this time of need.<\/p>\n
