Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>THE Namibian Eagles will be on the prowl to secure another stunning world cup victory when they take on Scotland in the T-20 World Cup today at 16:00 in Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n

In what is widely regarded as the fairytale of international cricket, the Namibian team stunned the cricketing world when it reached the last 12 by beating Ireland which is a recognised test playing nation, and thereby also qualified for a straight entry into next year\u2019s world cup in Australia.<\/p>\n

The fighting spirit of the soaring Namibians rallied fans around the world. What makes the cricket performance so special is that Namibia is participating with New Zealand, Australia, England, Scotland and Ireland as the only nations that also qualified for the last world cup.<\/p>\n

Namibia\u2019s remarkable sports performance started with a stellar Olympic performance, especially by the Mboma\/Masilingu sprinting duo, the under 15 junior athletes raking in medals in Europe, the Paralympians, and also the women\u2019s inline hockey team that earlier this year beat the South Africans to represent Africa at next year\u2019s world championships in Belgium. The Namibia vs Scotland T-20 match will be broadcast live from 16:00 today on various DStv channels.<\/p>\n
