Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>Tura Magic are showing no signs of slowing down in this season of the FNB Women\u2019s Super League, after thrashing Namib Daughters on Saturday 6-0, and Magic captain Lovisa Mulunga has said the win came as a result of teamwork.<\/p>\n

Magic on Saturday recorded another pivotal win in the league as they continue to push for the title. Speaking to New Era Sport on Saturday, Mulunga, who bagged a hattrick on the day, said it was a tough match but maintained that teamwork made them saw off their rivals.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not an easy match but the team effort proved to have worked for us, that\u2019s why we collected maximum points. We are hoping to keep the same momentum and believe we can march on and reach our target, which is to win the league,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

In addition, Magic Ladies head coach Shama Gure also shared his thoughts on the match, stating that the team had executed their game plan effectively. Despite acknowledging that the game was tough, Gure expressed satisfaction with the team\u2019s strategy and overall performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe built on our previous performance and stuck to our game plan, which worked for us. The game was tough, but we take it one game at a time, and that\u2019s what we\u2019re going to stick to. I am happy with the overall performance from the girls,\u201d Gure said.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Namib Daughters coach Ryan Matsi said he was happy but disappointed with a few decisions from the officials, which he believes, caused them to lose points.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe played a good game but a few errors from the referees caused us points on the road, which is very unfortunate. But I think we have the potential and we are likely to bounce back in our next match,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, Right Way Phoenix lost 0-3 to Arrows Ladies while Khomas Nampol beat NUST Babes 4-0. Unam Bokkies collected maximum points after winning 2-0 against Okahandja FC. Beauties suffered the biggest defeat on Saturday, losing 10-0 to Omaheke Queens, while Girls and Goals won 1-0 against V-Power.<\/p>\n
