According to Capricorn, each of these programs has a distinctive value proposition and a diverse geographic effect.

“A safe, healthy, and conducive learning environment is critical for children to maximise their early learning and to build a strong foundation for their development. The Capricorn Foundation is proud to partner with and support like-minded organisations that operate within one of our primary focus areas of education. Together with these partners, we remain committed to transforming lives and Being Connectors of Positive Change by making a profound and lasting positive impact on our communities. Benjamin Franklin famously said: “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest”, said Marlize Horn, Group Executive: Brand & Corporate Affairs and Executive Officer of Capricorn Foundation.

Involved in the community for more than 16 years, S.P.E.S. Charity is a Non-Profit Organization that primarily supports informal pre-schools in Windhoek’s less affluent neighborhoods. The initiative seeks to end the cycle of poverty for the teenagers and children it works with through its all-encompassing approach. A total of 1100 children are directly impacted by the initiative, which focuses on providing them with emotional, physical, academic, and spiritual assistance.

The Foundation added that S.P.E.S seeks to end the cycle of poverty by offering a support system for children as they grow through pre-school, primary school, and secondary school until they find employment. Kopenhagen Fur, a Danish company, has been the project’s principal sponsor from its inception.
