Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>THROUGH the provision of more funds in the sum of N$250,000, the Capricorn Foundation declared its sustained collaboration with the Step out of Poverty Charity (S.P.E.S).<\/p>\n

According to Capricorn, the Foundation\u2019s continued support enables S.P.E.S to directly impact 1100 children through 15 informal pre-schools in Windhoek by offering teachers\u2019 training and mentorship, food, and educational materials.<\/p>\n

The Capricorn Foundation also emphasized that education is one of its primary areas of interest and that, since its founding in 2020, it has a proven track record of assisting Early Childhood Development (ECD) initiatives and programs throughout Namibia.<\/p>\n

S.P.E.S. is one of about five ECD programs that the Capricorn Foundation is funding to prevent effort duplication. According to Capricorn, each of these programs has a distinctive value proposition and a diverse geographic effect.<\/p>\n

\u201cA safe, healthy, and conducive learning environment is critical for children to maximise their early learning and to build a strong foundation for their development. The Capricorn Foundation is proud to partner with and support like-minded organisations that operate within one of our primary focus areas of education. Involved in the community for more than 16 years, S.P.E.S. Charity is a Non-Profit Organization that primarily supports informal pre-schools in Windhoek\u2019s less affluent neighborhoods. The initiative seeks to end the cycle of poverty for the teenagers and children it works with through its all-encompassing approach. A total of 1100 children are directly impacted by the initiative, which focuses on providing them with emotional, physical, academic, and spiritual assistance.<\/p>\n

The Foundation added that S.P.E.S seeks to end the cycle of poverty by offering a support system for children as they grow through pre-school, primary school, and secondary school until they find employment. Kopenhagen Fur, a Danish company, has been the project\u2019s principal sponsor from its inception. But, Covid19 has significantly impacted their level of dedication.<\/p>\n
