Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>THE youth of Onesi are among the rarest, most devoted, and selfless individuals in the Omusati region.<\/p>\n

This was clearly demonstrated by Kornelius Kornelius (35) and Jason Katelehingo (30), who have taken it upon themselves to assist rural schools in the north by repairing damaged furniture without relying on government support. They have achieved this through their company, BGKO Investment CC.<\/p>\n

Established in 2022, BGKO Investment CC continues to make a significant impact with the limited funds they have saved.<\/p>\n

The primary requirement from schools is to provide them with broken furniture, and they undertake the repairs at no cost.<\/p>\n

As part of their contribution to the education of Namibian children, they collaborated to fix broken desks and chairs used by the learners.<\/p>\n

In the Ruacana and Onesi Circuits, Kornelius said that they have successfully repaired 60 tables and chairs for several schools.<\/p>\n

Within the Onesi Circuit, they have conducted repairs in four schools: Iiyambo Iiyambo Combined School, Chief Daniel Shooya Combined School, Oshaala Combined School, and Okomakwiya Combined School. In Ruacana, they extended their services to Ben Hauwanga Combined School and Otjandjamwenyo Combined School.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese repairs have not only increased the seating capacity of classrooms but also instilled a sense of pride and ownership among students, teachers, and the community,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Kornelius explained that they took it upon themselves to repair broken furniture in schools to ensure a conducive learning environment for the students.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are doing this at no cost,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

He further said that they have already revitalized numerous schools by repairing chairs and tables, making a tangible difference in the lives of young learners.<\/p>\n

Kornelius expressed their desire to expand their work beyond mere repairs and strive to create an environment where students can thrive, fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere for education.<\/p>\n

In order to reach more schools, Kornelius emphasized the need for collaboration from various individuals and business people. By fostering these relationships, they will be able to secure the necessary resources, expertise, and financial support to effectively repair furniture in more schools.<\/p>\n\r\n
