Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>THE organizing committee of the Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair (OATF) has launched its \u201cWin-a-Truck\u201d competition as part of its efforts to give back to the community.<\/p>\n

This is the third time the committee has organized this competition since its inception in 2018.<\/p>\n

The truck being offered as a prize was purchased from Auas Motor Ongwediva at a discounted price.<\/p>\n

Participants have a chance to win a brand-new Suzuki Super Carry 1.2 Truck by sending an SMS at a cost of only N$5.<\/p>\n

Dale Diergaardt, the principal dealer for Auas Motor Ongwediva, expressed his excitement about being part of this wonderful initiative and assured the committee that they would be attending the trade show this year.<\/p>\n

Rebekka Hidulika, Chairperson of OATF, emphasized that hosting the trade fair requires significant resources, with over 400 exhibitors, including international participants, expected to attend.<\/p>\n

Hidulika explained that they are always seeking new ideas and ways to give back to the community, and the truck competition is one such example.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe appreciate everyone who has supported us throughout the years, and this is our way of showing gratitude,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The SMS lines were officially opened on May 1st and will close on August 30th, 2023. The winner is expected to be announced during the trade fair period.<\/p>\n
