Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>The staff of the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) took an oath in parliament to provide nothing but the truth before the Parliament Standing Committee on Public Accounts.<\/p>\n On March 14, 2014, One Call Solutions was contracted to provide services to NSFAF for the relocation and capture of 18,205 student files and excel sheets from the Ministry of Education to NSFAF headquarters at a cost of 4.50 Namibian dollars per file.<\/p>\n Under the leadership of Kennedy Kandume, the acting CEO, NSFAF inherited over 1000 physical files and Lex systems from the Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n However, after inheriting these documents from the Ministry through the services of One Call Solutions, some data could not be accounted for. Kennedy Kandume stated that he does not know the details of how One Call Solutions was acquired, and no documents are available regarding the agreement with the company, as it was established during NSFAF\u2019s tenure under the Ministry of Education. \u201cWe do not have any knowledge or documentation regarding the acquisition of the company,\u201d noted the CEO.<\/p>\n The documents were not provided to him when he assumed his position. In order to account for the missing data, NSFAF requested the Ministry of Education to provide the necessary documentation. However, on June 24, 2014, the Ministry failed to provide any records.<\/p>\n NSFAF allocated $51,750.00 to One Call Solutions for record management when they were still under the Ministry of Education. When NSFAF moved out of the Ministry, they paid One Call Solutions for the services rendered while they were under the Ministry, without having access to the contract (if there was one).
