Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>Police in the Otjozondjupa region has called on members of the public, especially those within the region, to come forth and share information that will possibly lead to the identification of human bones and other remains that were discovered at Farm Otjombonde on Sunday in the Kalkfeld district.<\/p>\n According to the police, the human skeletal remains, comprising a skull, ribs, legs, arms and backbone, were discovered in the field at Farm Otjombonde by a cattle herder, who then called the police to the scene.<\/p>\n Although investigations are ongoing, preliminary information strongly indicates that the remains could be that of an adult female, as an adult underwear of a women was also found at the scene, along with the bones.<\/p>\n The remains were dispatched to the Otjiwarongo police mortuary for further handling and examination.<\/p>\n \u201cItems such as one black sandal of size 6 and a blue jacket (old) and underwear, suspected to be that of an adult woman, were found. We are calling on members of public in that area, who may have missing female family members, to contact Kalkfeld police station,\u201d shared Otjozondjupa Police spokesperson Maureen Mbeha.<\/p>\n The latest horrific discovery follows the disappearance of five-year-old Tekla Tumuna, who went missing in the Kalkfeld area in January this year.<\/p>\n The young Tumuna mysteriously went missing from their home at farm Omukandi No.59, also in the Kalkveld district.
