Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>Ten laptops and Microsoft software packages have been graciously provided to the Ohangwena and \/\/Karas regions by the Namibia Fish Consumption Promotion Trust (NFCPT). The donation is worth a total of N$211,433.00. Additionally, it was revealed that each of the two regions will get an extra five computers during the course of the upcoming fiscal year.<\/p>\n

During his speech, NFCPT CEO Mr. Victor Pea emphasized the importance of computer access in schools and the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). He stated, \u201cAccess to computers in schools and ICT transcends geographical barriers, bringing the world to our communities and nurturing a generation of digitally proficient citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n

The donation from NFCPT will enhance computer literacy and enable students in the Ohangwena and \/\/Karas regions to develop important digital skills. The inclusion of Microsoft software packages further empowers educators and learners to engage with cutting-edge technology and explore a range of educational resources.<\/p>\n

NFCPT\u2019s commitment to promoting computer access in schools demonstrates its dedication to fostering a technologically advanced society. The planned future donations of five computers each to both regions reflect their ongoing support for the advancement of education through digital tools.<\/p>\n

The NFCPT\u2019s contribution will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the students and communities of Ohangwena and \/\/Karas, opening doors to new opportunities and ensuring the development of a digitally proficient generation.<\/p>\n
