Its primary goal is to substantially improve the living standards of residents in previously underserved regions.<\/p>\n<p>The electrification of Havana, CoW said, is a key step towards uplifting communities, providing better living conditions, and granting access to essential services for all its inhabitants.<\/p>\n<p>Efraim Imalwa, City of Windhoek\u2019s Engineering Technician and project manager, proudly shared that similar efforts are being undertaken in Otjomuise, Okahandja Park, a, b, c, Babylon, and Kilimandjaro.<\/p>\n<p>Imalwa further said that Mulet Electrical Investments CC has been entrusted as the project contractor for a significant initiative aimed at electrifying 1041 houses, with a particular focus on Havana extension one.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur commitment to improved living conditions is evident in this transformative project, set to be completed by 18 September 2023,\u201d Imalwa said.<\/p>\n<p>CoW further said that while impacting on this initiative, there are ongoing challenges that need to be addressed, especially related to the obstruction of infrastructure installation by illegal structures and the hazardous makeshift power supply commonly found in informal areas. In response to these issues, innovative solutions like the introduction of split meters with remote keypads have been implemented to effectively tackle the problem.<\/p>\n\r\n                <style
