Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>Former Africa Boxing Union (ABU) African champion Nathaniel \u2018Natty\u2019 Kakololo has warned Flame \u2018The Special One\u2019 Nangolo to be careful of what he wishes for in a fiery response to the latter\u2019s recent call-out.<\/p>\n

Last month, Nangolo challenged the former WBF international champion to a fight, saying he was tired of contesting with boxers who are not on his level.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am calling out Kakololo; we need to make this fight happen, and I think it\u2019s a must-have fight,\u201d Nangolo said last month.<\/p>\n

In response to Flame calling him out, the 34-year-old boxer said he understood why Flame called him out because he was once in his position.<\/p>\n

He advised the young boxer to make contact with his team.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf he truly wants to exchange leathers with me, his (Nangolo\u2019s) team knows where to find me. However, I am warning the young man to be careful what he wishes for. His calling me out is understandable because when I was that young and upcoming, I also wanted to fight the best. I wish him the best, but he still has a lot of work to do. I just want to warn him not to bite off more than he can chew, as the truth is, he has never swum in deep waters before,\u201d Kakololo advised.<\/p>\n

He reminded Nangolo that he is a former national champion, a former World Boxing Federation International champion, a former African Boxing Union African champion and a former World Boxing Association African champion.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have even contested for WBC silver and WBO intercontinental titles, conquering the world. I fought in arenas \u2013 not in halls, so he must be mindful of what he is provoking,\u201d Kakololo said.<\/p>\n

When asked about what he has been up to, Kakololo told New Era Sport he had taken some time off to rejuvenate and spend quality time with his family and children, particularly supporting his 10-year-old daughter Esther Kakololo\u2019s music career.<\/p>\n

However, despite taking some time off, he remains in the gym \u2013 preparing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been doing well and recently took some time off to rest and spend quality time with my family and kids. As a dedicated father, I\u2019ve been on daddy duty, assisting with school work and supporting my 10-year-old daughter Esther Kakololo\u2019s music career. While balancing these responsibilities, I\u2019ve also been engaging in light training since I became a full-time professional boxer. It\u2019s important to find that balance between family and career, and I\u2019m grateful for the opportunities I have to pursue my passions both inside and outside the ring,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
