Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>OSHAKATI Mayor Leonard Hango officially unveiled the new town council logo on Friday.<\/p>\n

Hango said that their decision to embark on this rebranding is part of their desire to better represent the dynamic spirit of Oshakati.<\/p>\n

The new logo has an easily identified familiar Oshakati Broadcasting Tower, which is 275 meters tall.<\/p>\n

The tower has different sections and is held upright by various cables.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the tower is set on the horizon with the sun rising in the background.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe horizon reminds us to keep ourselves grounded, and it offers providence, and the sun in the background symbolizes the stability of life for the town,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Overall, Hango said that the new council logo captures the essence of the town \u2013 its vibrant energy, its unity in diversity, and its forward-looking ambition.<\/p>\n

Hango indicated that the colours, shapes, and elements of the logo symbolize the various facets that make up the community.<\/p>\n

\u201cA community that stands together and embraces progress while cherishing its roots,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He stressed that the rebranding effort is more than just a change in appearance, a statement of their commitment to growth and development.<\/p>\n

Hango said that this is a pledge to provide better services, improved infrastructure, and a higher quality of life to their residents.<\/p>\n
