Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>Trustco Property Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a part of the investment portfolio of Trustco Group Holdings Ltd, has announced the third successful renewal of its Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for the Lafrenz Industrial Township Development. This industrial project boasts a prime location, situated 7km from Windhoek\u2019s central business district on the remaining land of Farm Nubuamis number 37.<\/p>\n

Trustco Properties acquired the 302-hectare parcel in 2004, successfully developing 83 hectares to date into industrially zoned areas, known as Lafrenz extensions 1, 2 and 3.<\/p>\n

According to Trustco, this industrial progress has given rise to a multitude of job opportunities<\/p>\n

in the short-, medium- and long-term, bolstering economic expansion.<\/p>\n

The remaining 157 hectares, comprising portion 81, 133 and the remainder of portion A, present future industrial development opportunities. According to a Trustco statement issued last week, \u201cThis ECC renewal underscores Trustco\u2019s unwavering dedication to sustainable industrial development and rigorous compliance with Namibia\u2019s environmental regulations. The company\u2019s proactive stance toward environmental management encompasses comprehensive plans that not only guarantee economic sustainability but also uphold environmental responsibility\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to renew the ECC for the Lafrenz Industrial Township Development,\u201d said Le-Hugo van Rooyen, CEO of Trustco Properties.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur steadfast commitment to compliance and responsible growth drives our dedication to maintaining the highest environmental standards. Detailed planning and preparations for the next phase of the Lafrenz property development are well underway.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement continued that, \u201cTrustco Properties has consistently demonstrated its commitment to compliance, fostering positive partnerships with governmental authorities, investors and private sector stakeholders to accelerate responsible industrial growth while preserving the environment\u201d.<\/p>\n
