The Satellite Police land, measuring 1 750 square meters, was provided by the Council. Following a thorough analysis, the Council decided to allocate an additional 4 479 square metres, bringing the total size to 6 229 square metres.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Paavo Amwele emphasized that this effort aims to support NamPol\u2019s crime-fighting initiatives. As the town expands, the crime rate in the area has increased. Proximity is considered crucial to minimizing response time and achieving success in apprehending criminals.<\/p>\n<p>Amwele expressed the Council\u2019s vision to see the land developed and called upon the Namibian Police Force to initiate fundraising efforts for the station\u2019s development. Additionally, he mentioned his office\u2019s commitment to mobilizing funds from the business community to support the project.<\/p>\n<p>Inspector-General Joseph Shikongo of NamPol highlighted that the construction of the substation will enhance services for the community of Omashaka and nearby villages.
