Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>MODERATE to heavy falls with flash floods are expected in the Kunene Region tomorrow.<\/p>\n

This forecast was provided by Namibia Meteorological Services, urging caution for individuals within the north-western region due to the impending heavy rains.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Namibia Meteorological Services predicted rain showers in various places from the North to the South this weekend, including Ondangwa, Windhoek, Keetmanshoop, and Walvis Bay. The Khomas Region and the northern coastal area were singled out as areas likely to experience a few showers, particularly on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Several locations, especially in the country\u2019s interior regions, have received light to moderate rainfall during this week. For instance, Farm Groot Daberas in the Khomas Region recorded 25 millimetres (mm) of rain between Thursday and this morning. Khomas Region\u2019s Bergvlug and Windhoek also experienced light rain during this period, recording 2mm and 0.6mm of rain respectively by this morning.<\/p>\n

The rain has also persisted in the Otjozondjupa Region, where Grootfontein, Otavi, Okamatapati, and Otjiwarongo recorded 13mm, 6mm, 4mm, and 0.8mm of rain, respectively, between Thursday and this morning.<\/p>\n

In the Zambezi Region, Katima Mulilo experienced varying rainfall between Thursday and this morning. Some parts of the town recorded only 0.6mm of rain, while other areas recorded between 6mm and 8mm of rain during the same period.<\/p>\n

Recent rainfall has also reached the southern parts of the country, with \/\/Kharas Region\u2019s Keetmanshoop and Tses recording 14mm and 6mm of rain, respectively, between Thursday and this morning.<\/p>\n

As is customary at this point, several photos of the country\u2019s recent widespread rain continue to be shared on social media by rain enthusiasts. One such photo that represents Namibians\u2019 appreciation for the rain was shared by Facebook user Yvonne Von Holtz, showcasing the cloudy skies at Etosha National Park, accompanied by the caption, \u201cNo matter where I\u2019ve been going over the past week… It\u2019s always raining.
