Yesterday, the Namibian Under-21 netball team dominated the court with a final score of 55-17 in their second match at the Netball World Youth Cup qualifier, hosted at the Rembrandt Hall in Pretoria.<\/p>\n

After their initial defeat against Malawi on Sunday, where the scoreline stood at 48-23, the Namibians rallied together, demonstrating determination and skill to secure this triumph. Looking forward, the team is eagerly anticipating their upcoming match against Zimbabwe, scheduled for today at 18h00.<\/p>\n

The head coach of the team, Jones Musambani, reflected on Sunday\u2019s challenges, acknowledging the hurdles they faced. However, he expressed pride in the team\u2019s ability to regroup and address their mistakes. \u201cAfter the game, we spoke about it, and fixed the errors. The players followed instructions. Today, we face Zimbabwe, and the players are highly-motivated. We anticipate a great result\u201d, he enthused.<\/p>\n

Team captain Elizabeth Besser echoed Musambani\u2019s sentiments, emphasising the team\u2019s resilience and growth. \u201cWe analysed Sunday\u2019s loss, and came back stronger for our second match. Everyone on court did what they were supposed to do, and I couldn\u2019t be prouder of the team\u2019s performance\u201d, she remarked.<\/p>\n
