\u201cOur theme underscores the collective ambition to harness Namibia\u2019s abundant natural resources for tangible, inclusive growth, moving beyond potential towards sustainable prosperity. Last week organisers confirmed the attendance of Haitham Al Ghais, Secretary General (SG) of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), who is expected to deliver an address and share insight into global oil trends at the conference.<\/p>\n

This is as Namibia is on track to produce its first oil from offshore discoveries by 2030 and the country is getting ready to take on a more prominent role in global supply chains.
