Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>Swakopmund\u2019s pristine beaches set the stage for an electrifying display of beach volleyball expertise during the weekend, as teams from across Namibia competed in the 2024 Bank Windhoek national beach volleyball tournament.<\/p>\n

Against the backdrop of the majestic Namibian coastline, players demonstrated their skills, determination and teamwork in a tournament characterised by intense competition and the rise of new talents.<\/p>\n

In the men\u2019s division, Panache Chiguta and Kudakwashe Mahachi claimed victory, with Conrad Johannes, Heiko Diehl, Thomas Shilumbu, and Theodore Thomas securing second and third place.<\/p>\n

Daniel \u2018Pumi\u2019 Seidler and Matthew Paulus clinched fourth place. In the women\u2019s division, Rosi Hennes and Lameesh Harris emerged victorious, followed by Cathy Thomas and Beatrix Kalongee in second place.<\/p>\n

Maggie Heita, Mirriam Mendos, Emma Cornel and Lucie Hartmann secured third and fourth place, respectively.<\/p>\n

The tournament embodied the spirit of competition and camaraderie, from intense matches on the sand to jubilant celebrations on the podium.<\/p>\n

With the overwhelming success of this year\u2019s event, anticipation is already building for the next national tour event scheduled for June, promising more excitement and unforgettable moments under the warm winter sun of Windhoek.<\/p>\n

The Namibian Volleyball Federation expressed sincere gratitude to sponsor Bank Windhoek, whose generous support made the event possible. The federation acknowledged the bank\u2019s steadfast commitment to fostering the growth of beach volleyball.<\/p>\n
