Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>The Pst Bet Namibia Football Association (NFA) Cup semi-finals will be played this weekend in Mariental, with teams in men\u2019s and women\u2019s divisions vying for a spot in the finals.<\/p>\n

In the men\u2019s category, Chula Chula will take on Young Brazilians in a match scheduled to start at 16h00 tomorrow. Chula Chula booked the semi-final spot after beating Mighty Gunners 1-0, while Young Brazilians cruised to the semis with a 4-2 win over Oryza Sativa.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, African Stars will face Khomas Nampol on Sunday with the tie expected to start at 15h00.<\/p>\n

Stars reached the semis after edging Shandumbala outfit Tigers with a convincing 2-0, while Khomas Nampol booked their semi-final ticket with a 1-0 win over Okahandja United.<\/p>\n

Speaking to this publication yesterday, Ronnie Kanalelo, the head coach of African Stars, said this weekend\u2019s match won\u2019t be an easy one as every team is hoping to book a final berth.<\/p>\n

He added that the mood in the camp is good, and they are vying for positive results.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll our players are in camp, we don\u2019t have any players ruled out due to injury or anything, so meaning we have no excuses. We must go all the way out.<\/p>\n

I know it won\u2019t be an easy one against Nampol as they have shown how much of a good team they are in the league as well as the league cup. But our aim is to collect good results in every match we play, so we will make sure that we stick to the main goal, which is reaching the finals of the cup,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Khomas Nampol head coach Fortune Eichab said his charges are likewise prepared and looking forward to the semi-finals.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery team in the semis is ready and all matches will be equally tough. But we must remain ready for this encounter and make sure we do all the best and win this match. We aim to reach the finals and that\u2019s our main goal,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

In the women\u2019s category, Ongos Ladies will take on Nust Babes in a fixture scheduled for 14h00 on Saturday, while Khomas Nampol will take on Beauties on Sunday in a match slated for 13h00.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the team\u2019s readiness, Shama Gure of Ongos Ladies acknowledged how tough their match would be but maintained that they know what to do.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is no easy game in the semi-finals; every match is tough as all teams are prepared and eyeing the bigger price. So, for us, we know what we want, and we will go there with the aim of winning,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
