Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>A CELL tower owned by a mobile telecommunications company collapsed on Thursday night at Omagongati village in Ondangwa Rural constituency in Oshana region.<\/b><\/p>\n

Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) spokesperson Erasmus Nekundi confirmed that the tower belongs to MTC. However, the company has not yet established what caused the tower to fall.<\/p>\n

Nekundi added that he does not know when the tower would be re-erected. Ondangwa Rural constituency councillor Kaushiweni Abraham said the tower fell on Thursday night, destroying electricity cables and a nearby fence.<\/p>\n
