{"id":7549,"date":"2021-12-15T17:27:25","date_gmt":"2021-12-15T17:27:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/namibia\/all-news\/ra-employees-to-get-4-increment"},"modified":"2021-12-15T18:23:39","modified_gmt":"2021-12-15T18:23:39","slug":"ra-employees-to-get-4-increment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/namibia\/all-news\/ra-employees-to-get-4-increment","title":{"rendered":"RA employees to get 4% increment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Namibia. <\/strong><\/span><b>Roads Authority said it has agreed with the Namibian Public Workers Union (Napwu) for the authority&#8217;s employees to get a 4% raise backdated to April this year.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>According to a statement released by the Roads Authority yesterday, both parties agreed to a 4% increment on the basic salary, housing allowance and transport allowance for all employees in the bargaining unit, paterson job grades A2 \u2013C5.<\/p>\n<p>The statement indicated that the RA board of directors also approved a 4% salary increase on the total cost to company for all staff members at management level.<\/p>\n<p>Conrad Lutombi, the authority&#8217;s chief executive officer said the negotiating parties are cognisant of the fact that RA is a non-profit making entity, hence its remuneration levels are equated to that.<\/p>\n<p>This is a demonstration of the good relations that exist between the RA and Napwu, he said.
