Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>A Johannesburg-based company, Ren-Form CC, has won the tender to print the ballot papers for the 27 November elections.<\/b><\/p>\n

This is after the Electoral Commission of Namibia\u2019s (ECN) last-minute emergency procurement process.<\/p>\n

The announcement was made by the commission on its Facebook page on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n

Ren-Form has been identified as the most responsive bidder, as per the established bidding specifications, say the ECN.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have been awarded the contract for the design, printing, supply and delivery of ballot papers,\u201d says ECN chief electoral and referenda officer Peter Shaama.<\/p>\n

An invitation has been extended to all authorised party representatives to observe how the ballot will be printed and packaged.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe commission wishes to assure its stakeholders and the Namibian nation at large that it remains dedicated to upholding the integrity of the electoral process and its constitutional mandate,\u201d he adds.<\/p>\n
