Africa-Press – Namibia. <\/strong><\/span>Former first lady Monica Geingos has warned members of the public to be aware of a scam promoting forex trading platforms, investment opportunities, and get-rich-quick schemes.<\/b><\/p>\n

In a statement issued by Geingos\u2019 office on Friday, people were warned that scammers using the cell phone numbers 081 331 7884 and 081 419 2631 are impersonating Geingos.<\/p>\n

Scammers are using Geingos\u2019 name on various social media platforms to defraud people.<\/p>\n

Her office clarified that Geingos does not promote or reach out to any person through personal messages asking for money or investments.<\/p>\n

Geingos has official social media accounts tied to specific handles.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you are contacted by someone claiming to be Geingos and offering investment opportunities, report the accounts immediately to the platform\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

If you have any doubts, contact her official channels directly to verify any communications.<\/p>\n

She urged the public to be vigilant and not fall for the scam.<\/p>\n
