Africa-Press<\/a> – Niger<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>En marge du sommet du G5 Sahel qui s\u2019est ouvert lundi \u00e0 N\u2019Djamena, le pr\u00e9sident tchadien Idriss D\u00e9by Itno a annonc\u00e9 l\u2019envoi de 1 200 soldats dans la zone dite des \u00ab trois fronti\u00e8res \u00bb, entre le Mali, le Niger et le Burkina Faso, pour lutter contre les jihadistes.<\/p>\n

Les ministres de la d\u00e9fense du G5 Sahel (Tchad, Niger, Mauritanie, Niger, Burkina Faso) se sont rendus lundi \u00e0 N\u2019Guigmi, au Niger, pr\u00e8s de la fronti\u00e8re avec le Tchad, o\u00f9 sont stationn\u00e9s les soldats qui seront ensuite d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s dans la r\u00e9gion des \u00ab trois fronti\u00e8res \u00bb, selon la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision d\u2019\u00c9tat tchadienne, une annonce \u00e9galement faite sur Twitter par la pr\u00e9sidence.<\/p>\n

L\u2019envoi de soldats tchadiens avait \u00e9t\u00e9 initialement annonc\u00e9 il y a un an lors du pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent sommet de Pau. Mais plusieurs facteurs avaient emp\u00each\u00e9 leur d\u00e9ploiement : une menace jihadiste grandissante sur les bords du lac Tchad mais aussi un d\u00e9saccord constant entre N\u2019Djamena et ses partenaires sur les modalit\u00e9s de ce d\u00e9ploiement.<\/p>\n

Tractation financi\u00e8res<\/b><\/p>\n

Des \u00ab questions financi\u00e8res \u00bb ont notamment conditionn\u00e9 cette op\u00e9ration, le pr\u00e9sident tchadien r\u00e9clamant entre autres qu\u2019une partie des primes des soldats d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s soit prise en charge par les partenaires, selon plusieurs sources diplomatiques concordantes au Sahel. \u00ab Il y a eu des questions financi\u00e8res qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9gl\u00e9es \u00bb, a reconnu l\u2019\u00c9lys\u00e9e quelques jours avant le sommet de N\u2019Djamena.<\/p>\n

L\u2019envoi de soldats \u00e9tait r\u00e9clam\u00e9 depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es par la France, partenaire du G5 Sahel, qui souhaite r\u00e9duire sa pr\u00e9sence militaire dans la r\u00e9gion, alors que 5 100 soldats fran\u00e7ais sont actuellement pr\u00e9sents dans la zone des \u00ab trois fronti\u00e8res \u00bb.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
