Africa-Press<\/a> – Niger<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Dans son discours d\u2019investiture de ce vendredi 02 avril 2021, le Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique Mohamed Bazoum entend apporter plusieurs r\u00e9formes dans le syst\u00e8me \u00e9ducatif nig\u00e9rien dont la construction des internats pour les \u00e9l\u00e8ves filles au niveau des coll\u00e8ges de proximit\u00e9 des villages environnants.<\/p>\n

Dans son intervention, le nouveau Chef de l\u2019Etat a tout d\u2019abord fait remarquer que les plus grands d\u00e9fis du Niger r\u00e9sident depuis son ind\u00e9pendance dans les faiblesses \u00e9ducatives, et que s\u2019il consid\u00e8re le d\u00e9fi de l\u2019\u00e9ducation comme son plus grand d\u00e9fi, c\u2019est parce qu\u2019il sait que les faibles taux de scolarit\u00e9 ont pour effet de priver des contingents nombreux d\u2019enfants et de jeunes des r\u00e9elles chances d\u2019\u00e9ducation.<\/p>\n

Cette situation explique d\u2019ailleurs, a-t-il dit, les mariages pr\u00e9coces des jeunes filles (77% sont mari\u00e9es avant 18 ans ; 28% avant 15 ans), mais aussi la forte pr\u00e9valence de la polygamie, ainsi que la forte pr\u00e9valence de l\u2019utilisation des contraceptifs.<\/p>\n

Et parce que l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de la gouvernance a aujourd\u2019hui besoin d\u2019\u00eatre soutenue par un grand projet de r\u00e9formes du syst\u00e8me \u00e9ducatif, qui est en proie \u00e0 une crise tr\u00e8s grave (manque de capacit\u00e9s d\u2019accueil et d\u2019acquisition de la connaissance, faibles taux de scolarisation, d\u2019ach\u00e8vement et de r\u00e9ussite aux examens), le Pr\u00e9sident Mohamed Bazoum a promis de faire de l\u2019\u00e9ducation \u00ab un domaine dont je m\u2019occuperai prioritairement autant que je m\u2019occuperai de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Le nouveau Pr\u00e9sident nig\u00e9rien d\u2019annoncer un certain nombre de mesures qui seront prises \u00e0 cet effet dont, entre autres, la r\u00e9actualisation de la carte scolaire, la professionnalisation du corps enseignant et la mise \u00e0 disposition d\u2019enseignants professionnels ma\u00eetrisant le contenu \u00e0 enseigner et les techniques d\u2019enseignement et d\u2019apprentissage.<\/p>\n

M. Bazoum Mohamed a \u00e9galement d\u00e9clar\u00e9 qu\u2019il va am\u00e9liorer les r\u00e9sultats scolaires et surtout s\u2019occuper de la scolarisation de la jeune fille. \u00ab L\u2019indice de parit\u00e9 entre les filles et les gar\u00e7ons au secondaire est tr\u00e8s largement d\u00e9favorable \u00bb, a-t-il fait savoir, expliquant que ce sont les parents qui sortent les filles de l\u2019\u00e9cole au cours des premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es du coll\u00e8ge et surtout quand, comme c\u2019est souvent le cas, les \u00e9tablissements sont hors des villages des parents.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Pour am\u00e9liorer cette d\u00e9perdition qui, par ailleurs, favorise le mariage des enfants, je veux cr\u00e9er des internats pour les jeunes filles dans les coll\u00e8ges de proximit\u00e9s. Je compte lancer les travaux de construction de ces internats dans certains coll\u00e8ges aussit\u00f4t que j\u2019aurai pris fonction de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 les rendre op\u00e9rationnels d\u00e8s la rentr\u00e9e prochaine \u00bb, s\u2019est-t-il engag\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Le Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique a \u00e9galement assur\u00e9 qu\u2019il proc\u00e9dera \u00e0 une rigoureuse r\u00e9forme du curricula de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 mettre l\u2019\u00e9cole nig\u00e9rienne en ad\u00e9quation avec son environnement culturel. \u00ab Je mettrai en place une \u00e9quipe d\u2019architectes innovants pour la conception d\u2019un mod\u00e8le alternatif de construction de classes moins ch\u00e8res et plus adapt\u00e9es \u00e0 notre environnement et, ce, en vue de mettre compl\u00e8tement fin aux classes paillottes \u00bb, a conclu le Pr\u00e9sident Mohamed Bazoum.<\/p>\n
