Africa-Press<\/a> – Niger<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Le nouveau Pr\u00e9sident nig\u00e9rien Mohamed Bazoum, investi ce vendredi 2 avril 2021 pour un mandat de cinq ans, a promis d\u2019\u00eatre \u00ab\u00a0le Pr\u00e9sident \u00e9lu pour tous les Nig\u00e9riens\u00a0\u00bb lors de son discours d\u2019investiture dans lequel il est revenu sur l\u2019organisation des \u00e9lections g\u00e9n\u00e9rales ayant consacr\u00e9 son \u00e9lection \u00e0 la t\u00eate du pays.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir rappel\u00e9 que le Niger a r\u00e9ussi la tenue de quatre scrutins en fin 2020 d\u00e9but 2021 (\u00e9lections municipales, r\u00e9gionales, l\u00e9gislatives et pr\u00e9sidentielles), unanimement salu\u00e9s par la communaut\u00e9 nationale et internationale, le Pr\u00e9sident Mohamed Bazoum a toutefois regrett\u00e9 que ce soit seulement le second tour de la pr\u00e9sidentielle, o\u00f9 il a recueilli un peu plus de 55% des suffrages exprim\u00e9s contre plus de 70% pour l\u2019ensemble de la coalition qui le soutient dans les autres scrutins, qui soit contest\u00e9 par l\u2019opposition.<\/p>\n

Selon lui, la tension politique survenue deux jours apr\u00e8s ledit vote \u00ab n\u2019a rien de spontan\u00e9 \u00bb et \u00ab rev\u00eat tous les traits de quelque chose de bien artificiel \u00bb, notamment le fait qu\u2019elle n\u2019ait eu lieu qu\u2019\u00e0 Niamey, mais r\u00e9side aussi dans le profil sociologique des manifestants qui sont pour la plupart des jeunes et des adolescents int\u00e9ress\u00e9s par l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de pillages.<\/p>\n

Le Pr\u00e9sident Mohamed Bazoum a aussi regrett\u00e9 le fait que la campagne \u00e9lectorale ait \u00e9t\u00e9 entach\u00e9e par l\u2019usage d\u2019arguments in\u00e9dits au Niger consistant, pour certains, \u00e0 stigmatiser l\u2019origine de la peau de certains de leurs adversaires.<\/p>\n

Et parce que \u00ab les hommes sont seulement responsables de ce qu\u2019ils font \u00bb, il a \u00e9galement mis la tentative du coup d\u2019Etat du 31 mars sous le coup de cette m\u00eame posture, avant d\u2019appeler les Nig\u00e9riens \u00ab \u00e0 regarder l\u2019avenir avec la m\u00eame foi quant \u00e0 la pr\u00e9\u00e9minence des r\u00e8gles de d\u00e9mocratie dans le mode d\u00e9volution du pouvoir \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Tout en promettant de pr\u00e9server l\u2019unit\u00e9 et la fraternit\u00e9 du peuple nig\u00e9rien, le Pr\u00e9sident Mohamed Bazoum s\u2019est dispos\u00e9 \u00e0 entretenir avec les leaders de l\u2019opposition \u00ab le dialogue constructif qu\u2019il faut pour favoriser un climat politique apais\u00e9, propice aux int\u00e9r\u00eats de notre pays \u00bb, en ce que \u00ab le Niger attend de nous que nous nous mettions tous au travail, chacun \u00e0 son niveau, dans la coh\u00e9sion, l\u2019harmonie et la conviction que notre avenir d\u00e9pend de nos engagements patriotes et de notre souci du bien commun \u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Je serai un Pr\u00e9sident de R\u00e9publique au service de la paix, du progr\u00e8s et du bonheur du peuple nig\u00e9rien \u00bb et du continent africain, a enfin promis le nouveau Chef de l\u2019Etat nig\u00e9rien qui, au d\u00e9but de son discours, a bien voulu rappeler les relations intrins\u00e8ques qui le lient au Pr\u00e9sident sortant Issoufou Mahamadou depuis maintenant 30 ans qu\u2019ils sont ensemble.<\/p>\n

S\u2019\u00e9tant rencontr\u00e9s pour la premi\u00e8re fois un 1er Ao\u00fbt 1990, les deux leaders avaient vite compris qu\u2019ils ont un destin politique commun ayant conduit \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation du PNDS Tarayya le 22 d\u00e9cembre 1990.<\/p>\n

Aussi, a-t-il voulu rendre hommage au Pr\u00e9sident Issoufou Mahamadou pour son \u00ab\u00a0leadership hors du commun\u00a0\u00bb, ce \u00ab\u00a0leader exceptionnel\u00a0\u00bb aux grandes qualit\u00e9s de droiture, de loyaut\u00e9, de g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9, de rigueur et de patriotisme ; des qualit\u00e9s qui ont servi de ciment pour maintenir la coh\u00e9sion au sein du parti et lui assurer ainsi sa croissance progressive, mais aussi de leadership \u00e0 la t\u00eate de l\u2019Etat du Niger.<\/p>\n
