Ce chef spirituel est l\u2019un des plus vieux avec le plus long re\u0300gne au Niger.<\/p>\n<p>Ne\u0301 a\u0300 Echia, a\u0300 quelques kilome\u0300tres de la ville d\u2019Aderbissanat, M. Abouhamid Ag Izouhour dit BOHA est issu d&rsquo;une famille che\u0301rifienne maraboutique ou\u0300 l&rsquo;islam prime sur tout. Il est l\u2019un des chefs traditionnels les plus importants de toutes les confe\u0301de\u0301rations touare\u0300gues du Niger.<\/p>\n<p>Jusqu\u2019a\u0300 son de\u0301ce\u0300s, il bat le record de longe\u0301vite\u0301 au tro\u0302ne. En effet, l\u2019Honorable Chef Boha a e\u0301te\u0301 intronise\u0301 en 1957, soit un (1) an avant l\u2019ave\u0300nement de la Re\u0301publique du Niger. Il a donc re\u0301gne\u0301 plus d&rsquo;un demi-sie\u0300cle.<\/p>\n<p>Selon les te\u0301moignages, il fut e\u0301galement l&rsquo;un des rares chefs traditionnels du Niger a\u0300 ne pas s\u2019inte\u0301resser a\u0300 la politique. Avant que les pieds ne commencent a\u0300 lui jouer les sales tours de la vieillesse, il s\u2019est toujours promene\u0301 a\u0300 pied a\u0300 Aderbissanat ou\u0300 ses sujets lui reprochaient cette modestie que l&rsquo;on trouve rarement chez certains dignitaires du Niger.<\/p>\n<p>Il e\u0301tait trop aime\u0301 par les populations.
