Africa-Press<\/a> – Niger<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>L\u2019arm\u00e9e nig\u00e9rienne a repouss\u00e9, mardi, une attaque du groupe djihadiste nig\u00e9rian Boko Haram, tuant trois assaillants \u00e0 Bosso, une ville du sud-est du Niger sur les rives du lac Tchad, a-t-on appris, mercredi 23 juin, de source militaire et aupr\u00e8s des autorit\u00e9s locales.<\/p>\n

Mardi \u00ab aux environs de 18h40 locales (17h40 GMT), les \u00e9l\u00e9ments des forces de d\u00e9fense et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ont (\u2026) repouss\u00e9 une nouvelle attaque de Boko Haram \u00e0 Bosso \u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 dans un communiqu\u00e9 publi\u00e9 sur Facebook la Force multinationale mixte (FMM, qui associe Nigeria, Tchad, Cameroun et Niger).<\/p>\n

\u00ab C\u00f4t\u00e9 ennemi : trois assaillants neutralis\u00e9s (tu\u00e9s), un v\u00e9hicule d\u00e9truit \u00bb<\/b><\/p>\n

, a-t-elle pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 dans ce texte diffus\u00e9 depuis Diffa, capitale r\u00e9gionale du Sud-Est nig\u00e9rien. \u00ab Aucune victime \u00bb n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9e parmi les militaires, selon elle. Une mitrailleuse de 12,7 mm et trois fusils d\u2019assaut Kalachnikov appartenant aux assaillants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9s, selon la FMM.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Le restant de l\u2019ennemi mis en d\u00e9route s\u2019est \u00e9chapp\u00e9 \u00e0 bord de quatre v\u00e9hicules (\u2026) en direction des \u00eeles du lac Tchad \u00bb<\/b><\/p>\n

et \u00ab le ratissage se poursuit avec nos forces terrestres et a\u00e9riennes \u00bb, a-t-elle affirm\u00e9. Un \u00e9lu de Bosso a confirm\u00e9 ce bilan aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019AFP.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Retour des Nig\u00e9rians \u00bb<\/b><\/p>\n

Cette attaque survient deux jours apr\u00e8s le retour de pr\u00e8s de 6 000 personnes dans la localit\u00e9 de Baroua, situ\u00e9e pr\u00e8s de Bosso, qui avaient fui en 2015 des attaques djihadistes. Boko Haram avait men\u00e9 sa toute premi\u00e8re attaque au Niger, le 6 f\u00e9vrier 2015, contre Bosso.<\/p>\n

Le 3 juin 2016, une attaque massive de Boko Haram \u00e0 Bosso avait fait 26 morts, 24 soldats nig\u00e9riens et deux militaires nig\u00e9rians de la FMM, ainsi que 55 tu\u00e9s du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de Boko Haram, selon les autorit\u00e9s nig\u00e9riennes. Les assaillants avaient pris le contr\u00f4le de la ville, avant d\u2019en \u00eatre d\u00e9log\u00e9s le lendemain.<\/p>\n

D\u2019apr\u00e8s une estimation \u00e9tablie par les Nations unies quelques jours apr\u00e8s cette attaque du 3 juin 2016, au moins 50 000 personnes avaient fui la zone. Une partie des habitants de Bosso avait ensuite regagn\u00e9 la ville, selon les autorit\u00e9s locales. La r\u00e9gion de Diffa abrite 300 000 r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s nig\u00e9rians et d\u2019autres d\u00e9plac\u00e9s fuyant depuis 2015 les exactions des djihadistes, selon l\u2019ONU.<\/p>\n

Le pr\u00e9sident nig\u00e9rien, Mohamed Bazoum, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 mardi devant des diplomates \u00e9trangers \u00e0 Niamey qu\u2019il se rendra \u00ab tr\u00e8s bient\u00f4t \u00bb \u00e0 Diffa pour \u00ab commencer les discussions \u00bb avec le gouverneur de l\u2019Etat f\u00e9d\u00e9r\u00e9 nig\u00e9rian de Borno du \u00ab programme du retour des Nig\u00e9rians \u00bb chez eux.<\/p>\n

Outre les attaques de Boko Haram et de l\u2019Etat islamique en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest (Iswap) dans sa partie sud-est, le Niger doit \u00e9galement faire face \u00e0 celles de groupes djihadistes sah\u00e9liens, dont l\u2019Etat islamique au Grand Sahara (EIGS) dans sa partie ouest.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
