Africa-Press<\/a> – Niger<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Le Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique Bazoum Mohamed a pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de plantation d\u2019arbres, ce mardi 3 ao\u00fbt 2021 au Commandement de la circonscription de la Garde Nationale o\u00f9 il a plant\u00e9 un arbre.<\/p>\n

La f\u00eate de l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9e au Niger chaque 3 ao\u00fbt depuis 1960 est d\u00e9di\u00e9e depuis 46 ans \u00e0 la plantation d\u2019arbre \u00e0 travers le pays.<\/p>\n

Le Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique a proc\u00e9d\u00e9, cette ann\u00e9e, \u00e0 la plantation d\u2019arbres \u00e0 Zinder pour cette \u00e9dition dont le th\u00e8me est \u2018\u2019valorisons le Moringa pour am\u00e9liorer l\u2019\u00e9conomie\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

Auparavant, Mme Garama Saratou Rabiou Inoussa, Ministre de l\u2019Environnement et la Lutte contre la d\u00e9sertification a rappel\u00e9 que l\u2019institutionnalisation de la f\u00eate nationale de l\u2019arbre \u2018\u2019traduit la prise de conscience de notre peuple depuis plusieurs d\u00e9cennies, pour faire face aux d\u00e9fis de la d\u00e9sertification et des changements climatiques dont les r\u00e9percussions sur la vie de nos concitoyens, de nos activit\u00e9s socio\u00e9conomiques, sur notre environnement sont des plus n\u00e9fastes\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

Le Moringa commun\u00e9ment appel\u00e9 \u2018\u2019arbre de vie ou arbre du paradis\u2019\u2019 contribue particuli\u00e8rement \u00e0 travers ses feuilles, \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des conditions de vie socio\u00e9conomiques des producteurs, soit directement par leur consommations ou indirectement par le revenu g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 et par leur commercialisation.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est entre autres pour les vertus et opportunit\u00e9s qu\u2019offre cette esp\u00e8ce que \u2018\u2019le th\u00e8me de cette ann\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 retenu pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer l\u2019\u00e9dition 2021 de la f\u00eate nationale de l\u2019arbre. Et \u00e0 travers ce th\u00e8me, il s\u2019agit de mobiliser les producteurs, les op\u00e9rateurs priv\u00e9s et les services techniques pour promouvoir la production, la transformation, la commercialisation du Moringa partout o\u00f9 cela est possible, notamment dans les jardins, les concessions, les \u00e9coles et les lieux de travail\u2019\u2019 a indiqu\u00e9 la Ministre de l\u2019Environnement.<\/p>\n

Selon elle, les statistiques de production de Moringa font ressortir pour l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2020, \u2018\u2019une production de 58.185 tonnes pour une valeur mon\u00e9taire minimale estim\u00e9e \u00e0 plus de 11 milliards de francs CFA\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

Sous les conseils avis\u00e9s des services du Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019environnement, les principales zones de production que sont Dosso, Tillab\u00e9ry, Maradi et Zinder, sont en cours d\u2019extension avec le d\u00e9veloppement de nouveau bassin de production dans les r\u00e9gions de Tahoua, Niamey et Agadez. Des dispositions sont \u00e9galement en train d\u2019\u00eatre prises pour am\u00e9liorer l\u2019offre d\u2019encadrement des services et pour assurer la disponibilit\u00e9 et l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9 des semences de qualit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

De m\u00eame, en collaboration avec les partenaires, le minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Environnement et de la Lutte contre la D\u00e9sertification est \u00e0 pied d\u2019\u0153uvre pour l\u2019organisation de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition de la semaine de Moringa au cours du prochain mois.<\/p>\n

Aussi, le minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Environnement et de la lutte contre la D\u00e9sertification soumettra dans les prochains mois, la strat\u00e9gie nationale des produits forestiers non ligneux et son plan d\u2019action \u00e0 l\u2019adoption du gouvernement.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019Ensemble, nous r\u00e9ussirons \u00e0 promouvoir la production du Moringa, l\u2019exporter au-del\u00e0 de nos fronti\u00e8res et faire de cette esp\u00e8ce notre \u2018\u2019caf\u00e9 et cacao\u2019\u2019\u2019\u2019 a indiqu\u00e9 Mme Garama Saratou.<\/p>\n

Le Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique a, ensuite, proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 la plantation de son arbre pour lancer une campagne massive de plantation par l\u2019ensemble des officiels pr\u00e9sents \u00e0 cette c\u00e9r\u00e9monie dont la Premi\u00e8re Dame Mme Bazoum Hadiza.<\/p>\n

Auparavant, le Pr\u00e9sident Mohamed Bazoum a d\u00e9cor\u00e9 19 officiels du Niger et de la R\u00e9publique f\u00e9d\u00e9rale du Nig\u00e9ria, pour leurs efforts inestimables dans le d\u00e9veloppement socio\u00e9conomique du Niger.<\/p>\n
