Africa-Press – Nigeria. LaLiga President, Javier Tebas has named two players that deserve to win the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
The winner of this year’s Ballon d’Or will be announced in September.
Manchester City midfielder Rodri won the top-individual prize last year ahead of Real Madrid’s Vinicius.
However, speaking about the player that should win the Ballon d’Or this year, Tebas simply named Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Vinicius.
According to him, the winner of the award should be between the duo.
“Ballon d’Or, It should be between Lamine Yamal and Vinicius Jr,” Tebas was quoted by @TouchlineX as saying.
Yamal won LaLiga and Copa del Rey with Barcelona last season and he has led Spain to the Nations League final.
Vinicius, on the other hand, had a decent season with Real Madrid, but the Brazilian international didn’t win the LaLiga, Copa del Rey or UEFA Champions League with the Los Blancos.
