Africa-Press – Nigeria. Senate Minority Leader, Abba Moro, has expressed sorrow over the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, who died on Sunday in London.
Speaking on behalf of the Senate Minority Caucus, Moro described the former President as a true patriot and nationalist dedicated to preserving Nigeria’s unity.
He noted that Buhari’s death represents a significant loss to the nation.
The lawmaker extended the condolences of the Minority Caucus to Buhari’s immediate family, the Government of Katsina State, and the Federal Government.
He also prayed that Almighty Allah grant the former president eternal rest and peace.
